My first day in Shimonoseki I went with Ruthie (my neighbor and co-worker) and Marcus (a JET from Australia) to Kaiko Yume Tower. It is the tallest tower in western Japan, and there are great views from the top. You can click on any of the pictures to see a bigger version

Wow, these are totally gorgeous. I forgot what a great photographer you are. Are you glad to be where are you are? I think we must've gone abroad at almost exactly the same time...are you experiencing kind a roller-coaster, too?
