Today was an interesting day.
Highs
1. I did pakour for the first time, and had a blast. I'm sure I'll be super sore tomorrow, but it was a great experience.
2. I did acting exercises with Miura-sensei for her drama class in English. We're working on A Midsummer Night's Dream. It's super fun!
3. I think I finally figured out most of the yosakoi dance for the festival next month. Today's extra rehearsal should keep me from looking like a total fool at the festival performance next month.
Lows
1. Japanese class was horrible! We were asked to conjugate verbs in a tense we hadn't been taught, using verbs we don't know. The class mostly just made me feel stupid. At one point, I thought the teacher asked me, "What do you do during class?" I started to say, "I practice Japanese," when she started saying something like, "Don't smoke cigarettes or talk on your cell phone." I seriously had no idea what was going on for most of the class. I know that the rest of the class shared my frustration, which did help a little.
Only one major low and several highs, so I guess it was a good day.

I hate that feeling of not knowing what's going on. This may be a mark of my stupidity, but I truly felt like that so often during my Spanish classes. I could not get a handle on it. It was exhausting. I hope it goes much better next class for you!
