Yesterday I walked out of my apartment, and there she was. This time she brought a friend, tracts in English, and a plant for me. She gave me the tracts and told me to make sure I watered the plant so it would flower. It was such a nice gesture, and I kind of felt bad for kind of trying to avoid her before. So now I have my very first Mormon plant.

My Mormon Plant
Saturday after work, I was outside trimming my coleus plants (yes there might be a retired lady living inside my body) when a women came around the apartment complex where I live. It's not uncommon for us to have Jehovah's Witnesses or people from some "we worship this seemingly random person" group. They never speak English, so I usually I play my foreigner card and act like I don't understand what's going on. This woman just made small talk and asked me about the flowers though, and at first I thought she might be visiting some friends in the building. After a little chit chat though, the tracts came out. They were all in Japanese, and so I told her I couldn't read Japanese (which is mostly true). We talked a little more while I moved some of my flower pots into the storage shed. I didn't want to go back to my apartment and give the impression that I wanted her to join me. After a few minutes (while I tried to look busy) she kind of politely gave up then and moved on to another apartment.

Wow! You got a plant from the Mormons? All I ever got was tracts. I wonder what would happen if you went outside to water your gold bars the next time they come around....
Are your other plants resentful toward the Mormon plant, or are they all getting along?
Everyone seems to be pretty accepting of the Mormon plant. None of the other plants have tried to convert him - he however is putting out pamphlets everywhere.
