Finals are over and the holidays are almost here. We have our school Christmas program this Thursday, and I ate at the "It's Christmas" restaurant over the weekend. Yes, even in Japan we're getting into the Christmas spirit, even if it is a little commercial. Last week we showed our students A Charlie Brown Christmas, which they loved. Today Ruthie and I listened to Patrick Stewart's reading of A Christmas Carol in the English lounge at school. Even Colonel Sanders in front of KFC is dressed up Santa.
I have been very blessed this year. I have a great family and wonderful friends who sent me Christmas packages. I even have my very own Christmas tree with presents to open.
